A good client, an engineer, phoned early this morning with “When can you fit me in?  I need a full service.”

Most have us been trained really well over the years to service our vehicles and machinery regularly.  Reliability, safety and re-sale value, all depend on the inconvenience and expense of taking our cars to service several times a year.

It is inconvenient because we have to interrupt our daily routines to fit in with not having a car for a day.  Its expensive too.  The costs of servicing,  new tyres and bits, insurance, registration and not to forget, FUEL, means we are paying out 1,000s of our well earned spendoolas.  Still, these are expenses we accept as part of 21st century living.

Isn’t it funny. We find it difficult to justify spending money on ourselves.  We put ourselves last.
